The father of car manufacturing, Karl Benz, created his first car in 1885, marking the beginning of the automotive era. Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, saw a great future in the spread of the automobile, so he started mass production, and by 1920, nearly 1,000 cars were rolling off the assembly lines every day. Since then, the success of the automotive industry has been unbroken, with hundreds of companies in Hungary now directly or indirectly involved in the production of cars, and packaging materials companies have also set up shop.
